A Fall Thank You

Fall is my favorite time of year! I love waking up to the crisp morning air, the beautiful changing leaves, and all the fall goodies! I tried capturing some of those gorgeous colors in this card.

I started by creating the leaves from watercolor cardstock. I first sprayed the paper with water then added the color using Karin brush markers. I let the paper dry then die cut the leaves out using the leaf base dies.

Then I die cut the outlines for the leaves from gold mirror cardstock and adhered them to the colored leaves.

Next, I adhered the leaves in a circle on an A2 sized (4.25×5.5″) black cardstock panel that I had die cut using a stitched rectangle die from my stash.

I used the Classic Circle die set to cut a circle from black cardstock. Using the Thank You die from the Geometric Wreath die set, I die cut the words from gold mirror cardstock and adhered it onto the black circle.

To finish the card, I adhered the panel onto an A2 (4.25×5.5″) piece of gold mirror cardstock then onto a white, top folding, A2 sized card base. Then I adhered a few gold gems to the finished card.

I love the contrast of the leaves and gold against the black. I hope this inspires you to create some leaf inspired Fall cards. Thanks for visiting!!
