Thanks Wiper Card with Floral Garden

Floral Garden

Hey everyone! It’s Jessica. Today I’m using the Pop-up Wiper InsertFloral Garden die set and a stamped sentiment on the inside with the Amaze Me stamp set. You can find all the information for the products I used in today’s post on my blog.

I ran the mushroom dies through my die cutting machine, several times, to get the correct amount each color I will need. This is all done after the background is ink blended, more information on that is below. I adhered these right to the background intentionally overlapping some of the mushrooms on the outer gray frame. The “THANKS” die cuts can be used on the inside for the wiper but I chose to make it my BOLD sentiment for the front.

Before I assembled the mushrooms though I did ink blend the background with a few distress inks and oxide inks

I used some basic ink blending daubers to blend on to Bristol Smooth card stock. Starting first with the Tumbled Glass distress ink. I darkened the edges with Stormy Sky then used the greens on the bottom area. I used one of the skinny makeup brushes to swipe the Peeled Paint distress oxide ink on the bottom. It’s fun and easy to do and gives a bit of glass blade texture.

The inside holds the gift card and has a interactive wiper motion. As the recipient opens the card the banners at the top come together and make the inside sentiment.

I used the large wiper die first, to die cut the mechanism. I creased all the scored marks with a bone folder and used a strong liquid glue to adhere down. Again I will have a video up soon and will update this post when that is ready. I know it can be hard to visualize how these go together.

The wipers are die cut with a clear plastic card stock. It’s easiest to align these while the card is fully open. Getting these as straight as possible is important before adding the banner. I did cut my sentiment stamp, from the Amaze Me stamp set, in half and stamped each part on to the banner halves.

Then added another mushroom on the inside. I love that you can add in the gift card holder using the coordinating die or stamp and decorate the rectangle to hold your message.

Alright that is it from me today! You can find all the product information in my blog post here.

Let’s make something together.

Jessica ❤
