Shaker Tree Ornament with Vellum Zip Open Envelope

Hello my crafty friends!  Thank you for stopping by to check out this easy shaker tree ornament created with i-crafter Christmas Ornament Tree die.  These ornaments are easy to make and you can create them in a variety of color combinations.

You will need the following supplies:
1 sheet of metalic cardstock
2 sheets of 8 1/2′” x 11″ black 100lb cardstock
8″ black organza ribbon
shaker ellements (I used small red gems and clear gems)
clear accette
liquid glue
A – I cut two open ornament trees from the metaic cardstock using the i-Mend Self-Mending ProCutting Deck
B – Next, I cut twelve black trees with the open ornament tree die,    I took the tree outline die and die cut two clear solid tree shaped windows from the accetate.
C – I used liquid glue to glue the twelve black trees together in a stack. I glued one of the clear accetate trees to one side, creating pockets for the shaker elements.
D – I added mini red shaker gems to the base of the tree and clear gems to the fifteen ornament openings.
E – Using liquid glue, I glued the second piece of accetate ontop of the tree sealing in the shaker elements and glues tha metalic tree over each side covering each side of the ornament.
I let the ornament tree dry and and tied the black organza ribbon to the top star of the tree completing the ornament.
I created this see through envelope from vellum
Use this fun vellum embossed zip envelope to wrap up the ornament for gift giving.  Isn;t is so super cute?  You get a sneak peek of the gift through the vellum.  I used the i-crafter Mini Slimline Zip Envelope die.
Here are the supplies you need to create the envelope you will need
1 piece of 8 1/2″ x 11″ vellum
1/8″ double sided adhesive tape
(Optional) an embossing folder
You can choose to use an embossing folder to add tecture to the vellum or you may just die cut the two envelope sides (making sure one of the sides has the zip pull die cut into it).  I folded the two flaps and added 1/8″ double sided adhesive tape to one side and then lined up the other envelope side to make sure they match up.   I folded the two flaps on the second envelope and added 1/8″ double sided adhesive tape.  I removed the tape release paper from one of the envelope sides and attached it to  the second envelope side.  I removed the tape release paper from two more sides and created a vellum pocket.  I inserted the Shaker Tree Ornament into the vellum envelope and  sealed it.  I die cut and glued the Merry Christmas sentiment to the envelope front.
