Icy Snowflake Bursts

Hi everyone – Bri here! Today I am sharing a winter themed card design featuring the new Snowflake Bursts die set from i-Crafter.  I just love the wintery blue shades featured in this simple holiday card!

This card is super easy to make and super easy to replicate! First, I ink blended a scrap piece of cardstock with Distress Oxide inks to create an icy ombre blend. Next, I die cut the larger snowflake burst and the “warm wishes” sentiment from ink blended cardstock. The “warm wishes” sentiment die is from the Flip Card, Snowflake die set. To create the card background I used my Tumbled Glass ink to shade a light blue background onto a piece of white cardstock.  I only put a light covering of ink in the areas that would be covered by the snowflake die. I used a metallic mint-colored paint to create an ink splattering effect. I used a fine tip liquid adhesive to glue down the sentiment and the snowflakes to the background. Finally, to finish the card I matted the background onto a white card base.
