First Snow

Snowflake Bursts

Hi everyone! Today I am sharing this fun snow scene scrapbook page using the Snowflake Bursts die set. I really wanted to capture my son’s first experience with snow! He was so excited to find it had snowed overnight, that he had to get out there ASAP! We didn’t even take the time to get out of our PJ’s.

This was a really easy page to make. First I found a 12×12 sheet of patterned paper and a photo I wanted to use. I created a frame for the picture using a die I had in my stash. Then I adhered that in the center of the paper. Next, I created the letters from my stash and adhered them along the side and bottom.

Then, I die cut the Snowflakes from white glitter paper. I used all the dies in the set and cut 2 of the big bursts out. With one of the bursts, I cut individual snowflakes out so that I could spread them around the page. Using my craft pick, I lifted and separated points of the snowflakes to create the 3D dimension.

Instead of placing this in an album, I decided to put it into a 12×12 shadow box to show it off! I hope you enjoy it! Thanks for visiting!
