Hop On and Be Mine! an i-crafter gift card holder
Hello my crafty friends and welcpme to todays i-crafter blog! How stinking cute is this Scooter? I think it is adorable. The Box Pop Scooter Add-On dies is paired up with the Zip Gift Tag Holder die. What a sweet Valentine this would make. You can add a gift card for your sweetheart’s favorite bakery, coffee shop, or dinner spot. This is a simple project to recreate and there is no stamping, only die cutting and gluing the pieces in place.
You can follow along with these easy steps. I used the new i-Mend Magnetic ProCutting Deck with my Evolution die cutting machine to die cut all the pieces. The new i-Mend Magnetic ProCutting Deck is going to be a must have for any die cutting you have.
A – Die cut the scooter pieces from matte silver metalic, teal and black cardstock as shown
B and C – You can follow along with these two photos for the placement of the scooter paper pieces and glue each one into place
D – Cut off the excess teal cardstock below the tires and die cut the word Love twice from a strip of black cardstock. Die cut the Zip Gift Tag Holder from red cardstock adding the zip pull to the top area of one of the red tags
E – Glue the black cardstock love strip to the bottom of the red tag front creating a road for th scooter
F – Attach the scooter on the tag just above the black Love strip
G – Attach the balloon cluster to the fromt tag and behind the scooter seat
H – Choose either 1/8″ or 1/4″ wide double sided foam adhesive strips to adhere to the inside tag back, framing the bottom amd two sides of the tag, being careful to not cover the Zip pull. Attach the front tag to the back tag, The top of the tag is open . You will slip in the gift card here prior to securing the tag at the top with twine or ribbon

J and K – Complete the back of card by added the Be Mine sentiment and a balloon cluster.
