Holiday Cardinal Slimline Tag Card – an i-crafter no stamp card

Hello there creative friends!  Brrrr,  today is cold in the Midwest and it gets me in the holiday spirit.  Now I am not ready to turn on the Christmas songs just yet.  I believe the Turkey need to be cleared from the table before that can happen, but I does inspire holiday creativity like Christmas card and gift tag prep.

I am sharing a beautiful Holiday Cardinal Slimline card today!  This is a no-stamp card and is created with three i-crafter die sets.
I use the Rocker Step Card Base die set for the Poinsettia and the Redbird, the silver textured tag is created  with the medium tag  and reinforced circle dies from the Tags and Labels die set, and the Joy sentiment is from the Holiday Words die set.
I die cut all my pieces with the  i-Mend Self-Mending Magnetic ProCutting Deck.  In my opinion,  this is the best self-mending cutting deck on the market! I have been consistently die cutting with my i-Mend Self-Mending ProCutting Decks for over a year and there is no warping.
The cutting deck is comprised of three layers with the middle layer being a solid core surrounded by a self-mending mat layer on each side. There is no annoying crackling when you pass it though your diecutting machine.  I use a Platinum manual machine and an electronic Go Power and Emboss machine with the i-Mend ProCutting Deck.  I even travel with my i-Mend Self-Mending Magnetic ProCutting Deck and the platforms,
I assembled the Redbird die cuts and glued the pieces together (as shown above). Next, I assembled  2 large  and one tiny Poinsettia and glued them together as well.

I began to position the “Joy” Sentiment, redbird, branch and leaves, and Poinsettia on the silver tag until I found a layout I was pleased with.
I glued the layout into place on  the silver tag.  I took a length of slim organza ribbon and tied a bow at the top of the tag.
I cut an 8″ x 3 ” slimline card front from a  red and white diagonally striped printed cardstock.  I attached a 4″ strip of the green slim organza ribbon across the bottom of the card front 1″ from the bottom.  I glued the card front to a white slimline cardbase.
I attached the silver tag to the slimline card just above the green organza ribbon strip using double sided adhesive foam squares to compete the card.
