Holiday Cheers! i-crafter Holiday Card
Hello my crafty friends! I hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving! I can’t believe it is nearly December, can you? The holidays are upon us and I thought I would share this celebratory i-crafter card that can be used for any upcoming holidays, including the New Year!
I am using four i-crafter die sets with the i-Mend Self-Mending ProCutting Deck to create this card. I am using the Heart Hands Wiper Insert dies for the hands. The Scotty Holiday die set provides the “cheers” sentiment and the Holiday Word dies has the “Happy Holidays” words. The Celebration Wiper Insert die set has the champagne bottle and glass flutes.
A – Using the i-Mend Self-Mending ProCutting Deck, I die cut the words Happy Holidays from white cardstock.
B – I die cut one of each of the hands using two different flesh colored cardstocks. I curled the three lower fingers int the palm of the hand attaching the finger tips with glue.
C – I die cut the champagne bottle from a black metalic lava cardstock. The bottle top and label are die cut from a metalic brushed gold cardstock. The champagne flutes/glasses are die cut from heat resistant clear acetate and the champagne is die cut from light pink vellum. I used clear embossing ink to coat the glasses with clear embossing powder and heat set it to give the glasses a frosty look. I glued the pink vellum champagne to the back side of the glasses.
D – I die cut the word Cheers from white cardstock.
E – I arranged the hands and champagne flutes into a cheers (glass clinking) position on a piece of 3″ x 4″ grey cardstock and glued them down using foam squares to raise the hands.
F – I glued the grey card to a 4″ x 5 1/4″ printed card front.
G & H – I glued the champagne bottle to the lower right of the card front. I glued the Happy Holiday words to the top portion of the card front. The card front is glued to an A2 grey blue card base.
