Holiday Gift Card Holders

Hi everyone!  It’s Marcia on the i-Crafter blog today sharing a really fun pair of holiday gift card envelopes.  I paired newly released Christmas Treat Lantern Add-On inserts with the Animal Mini Envelopes.

Supplies used:
Christmas Treat Lantern Add-On
Animal Mini Envelopes
Buffalo Plaid Stencil

I die cut the envelope from red cardstock and inked with the Buffalo Plaid Stencil.  Then, to allow the gift card envelope to remain closed, I used the smaller circle die from the Animal Mini Envelopes set to partially die cut a semi-circle in which to tuck the flap, seen below.

 For the Noel envelope, I die cut the wording from a deep green trimming around the perimeter (about 1 7/8″ x 2 3/8″) then layered a piece of gold mirror cardstock beneath.  For the Naughty/Nice envelope, I die cut the sentiment portion for a piece of white cardstock then again in the center of the solid panel of the envelope.  This way the recipient can peek at what may be inside (money, gift card, etc).
