Halloween Stand Up Circular Mini Album
Hello and welcome to todays i-crafter blog. I am sharing this interactive Halloween Stand Up card using the Circular Mini Album dies (designed by Lori Whitlock) in an A2 card as a pop up!
I have paired up the Circular Mini Album die with the Halloween Treat Lantern dies and the Halloween Tunnel dies. Let me show you how easy it is to create this card!
You need to cut two of the Circular Mini Album corner pieces and fold on the score lines. Find the two sided you will glue together in the middle and stack these two sides directly over each other. Use the cobweb die from the Halloween Treat Lantern die to cut cobwebs in the middle of the overlapping sides. Secure it with low tack tape and run it though your die cutting machine. It might help to use a shim to cut through the two layers of cardstock and you may want to run it back and forth a couple of times to make sure the die cuts both layers. Die cut the word Beware from orange cardstock and set it aside. Using purple and teal cardstock, die cut the house, gates and spooky trees from the Halloween Tunnel die. Cut the two trees apart in the middle. Use the Circular Mini Album die to round the edges of the trees as shown. Cut out the house leaving the yard and grave stones. Cut out the gate. Attach threes, house gate and word Beware to each sides as shown. Glue each individual Circular Die corner connecting the three sides together. Take each of the circular die sides and glue the cobweb side together.
Take a piece of i-crafter i-Stik Adhesive Sheet and cut two 2″ x 2″ squares. Attach an i-Stik piece to the two backsides of the Circular Mini Album.
Take a piece of 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ orange cardstock to use as the card base. Score it at 4 1/4″ and fold it in half. Unfold it and score it at 4 1/8″ and 4 3/8″ and gently fold on these score lines. This will provice th card with a bit of give to allow for the bit of bulk in the fold of the circular album piece. Cut three 4″ x 5 1/4″ pieces of Halloween printed cardstock. Glue two of these pieces to the inside of the card and one to the outside front. Fold the card in half and slide in the folded Circular album half to see how it will fit. Peel off the release paper of the i-Stik from the left sideand attach it to the left inside of the card. Repeat with thte right side to attache the pop up in the card.
Die cut the square and the label shape from coordiating cardstock colors and glue them to the card front. Die cut the words Happy Halloween and the pumpkin from the Halloween Treat Lantern dies. Attach them as shown to the card front completing the Halloween Stand up card.
