Happy World Elephant Day!

Hi again friends! I am here to show off two tags that I created in celebration of World Elephant Day using the new Tags and Labels die set with the Elephant Family & Phrases stamp set.

I started by stamping out the larger elephant from Elephant Family & Phrases and coloring it quickly using T3, T5, & T7 Copic markers. I didn’t stress too much about staying in the lines since I knew I was planning on fussy cutting it out.

Next, I broke out the Hello World die set, I actually cut out 3 layers to get the look that I wanted. Once my globe was perfect, I added my fussy cut elephant as the top layer. I placed this towards the bottom of a yellow tag that I had cut out using the largest of the dies from Tags and Labels. I added gray grommets and a gray “hello” from the Stitched Rainbows die set to finish off the tag.

My second tag is super simple but honestly just makes me smile! I used the Tags and Labels die set with the Elephant Family & Phrases stamp set again. This time I cut a smaller tag and stamped the sentiment “Let’s be adventurers” from the Wonderful World stamp set using Stazon Teal Pigment Ink. Next, I stamped the two smaller elephants using the gray Stazon Pigment Ink to look like the back elephant is holding the front elephant’s tail with its trunk! Super simple and quick but fun.
