Unbe-Leaf-Able Birthday Card – Positively Plants stamp set

Positively Plants

Hello my crafty friends and welcome to today’s blog! I am featuring the i-crafter new June stamp set Positively Plants and the Cosmic Flare stencil.

These are the i-crafter products I used with this card

Positively Plants Stamp Set

Cosmic Flare Stencil

This is a fun stamp set. You can layer the plants over each other for an organic look or you can choose to use the solid stamps with outlines.

I chose to use the stamps with the outlines. However, this first plant with the large palm leaves did not have an outline. I took one of my fine line permanent sketch pen and drew an outline for this plant. I am stamping the images on watercolor paper that has been lightly spritzed with water. I used water color markers to color the stamp image instead of ink. You can see it gives a loose look to the image giving it a watercolor effect. I stamped the outlines with water resistant brown ink.

For the card front, I took a piece of 4 inch by 5 1/4 inch yellow cardstock and stenciled the cosmic flair on the upper half of the card. I stamped the sentiment “have and Unbe-leaf-able Birthday” about 1/4 inch from the bottom of the card front. Using foam tape I attached the plant panel just above the sentiment. I completed the card by adding the card front to a green A2 card base.

Thanks you so much for stopping by today for my i-crafter blog post.  I hope you enjoyed the Unbe-leaf-able Birthday card. I love hearing from you so leave me a message and tell me what your favorite i-crafter June release is!   Let me know if you have any question!
