Good morning! Ardyth here with a fun discovery I made while playing with the Animal Mini Envelopes and Floral Garden dies!
I’m longing for Spring so I decided to create a tulip-themed card with the die from Floral Garden. I created a rainbow striped panel and cut a bunch of the tulips from it. I love that the flower and stamens are attached – one cut for both pieces makes things quick and easy!
Then I looked around for some leaves and I found the little sprig of 3 leaves in the Animal Mini Envelopes set. I figured I would cut off the centre leaf but then I got a better idea! I could use that centre leaf as the base of my tulip.
Then I started thinking about how to arrange my tulips on my card front and the mouse-ear die in the Animal Mini Envelopes caught my eye – it is also the perfect shape for a vase!
Here are all the pieces before I started assembling.
I used tiny dots of liquid glue to attach the flower stamens to the centre leaf.
I put foam tape on the centre leaf to hold my tulips.
Tulip vase all arranged and I’m feeling rather clever!
To finish the card, I blended blue ink through a negative mask and adhered my floral arrangement. I used the rectangle dies from Pop Up Wiper die and the Thanks die from Zip Gift Tags to create my sentiment.

Oh, that IS clever – and such pretty colours.
OMG! That is so clever to use the “ear” for the vase. So fun!
