Pumpkin Spice season is upon us and today I have a pumpkin spice latte inspired card.
For this card I started by stamping the take away cup image onto white cardstock. Then I also stamped one on masking paper. I cut the masked image out then placed it over the image on the cardstock. Then I stamped the cup to the right and left of the masked image, slightly higher than the middle one. This will make them appear to be behind the center cup. I shaded the cup slightly using Prismacolor pencils in Cream and Beige.
Next, I stamped three of the cup sleeves in black and three whipped cream mounds in Ripe Persimmon Distress Oxide. I coloured and drew lines on the holders using Beige, Sand and Light Umber. Then I fussy cut all the images out and adhered them to the cups.
To create the panel the cups are on, I ink blended Ripe Persimmon over the I-crafter Cosmic Flare stencil onto a white piece of cardstock. Then, removed the stencil and lightly blended over the stark white portions not adding any more ink to my blending brush. I backed my cups with double sided foam tape and added them to the center of the panel.
Using my Score-Buddy and an A2 sized kraft cardstock panel, I created lines to resemble those on a cup sleeve. Then adhered that to a top folding A2 card base and adhered the orange stenciled panel over the kraft layer.
After that, I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of white cardstock using Ripe Persimmon and trimmed it to fit at the bottom of the card.
To give the card some shine, I added three round self adhesive enamel dots and an enamel heart!
