Thanks a Latte – Zip Gift Tag

Hello my crafty friends and welcome to today’s blog!  Thanks a Latte for stopping by to check out this super cute coffee gift tag holder. Yes, that is right, there is a gift card enclosed inside the tag.  I used the Zip Gift Tag dies with the i-Mend Self Mending Cutting Deck and the Latte Coffee Sentiment stamps set.  You will find this tag is super easy to re-create let me show you how.

A – I die cut one tag from brown cardstock and a second tag with the added zip pull die insert from brown cardstock using the i-Mend Cutting Deck.

B – Using the tag front (no zip pull), I chose one of the coffee cup stamps and stamped it with clear embossing ink.  I embossed it with colored embossing powder and heat set it.  I continued to do this using a different the four coffee cups and stamping them in a random pattern, embossing them individually with different colored embossing powder to create the colorful coffee cup design

C – I took the tag with the zip pull  and stamped the top view coffee cup on the lower right corner and embossed it in red embossing powder.  I stamped the fun coffee foam design in the middle of the cup and embossed it in a brown.  I stamped and embossed the “Thanks a Latte” sentiment in white 

D – I cut a piece of vellum  to 4″x 3/4″  I stamped and embossed the sentiment “I’ve been thinking about you a Latte” in black embossing powder in the middle of the vellum strip

E – I wrapped it around the coffee cups tag front and attached it to the underside of the tag

F – Using 1/4″ double sided foam tape to surround a gift card on the two side just below the zip pull and on the bottom of the card back

G and H – I sandwiched the gift card in between the tag front and tag back with the double sided foam tape.  I secured the gift card in the tag by adding a small bit  glue to the top and a ribbon to secure it in place.  This completes the card
