Snowflake Wreath

Pine Tree 3D

Hi everyone – Bri Here! Today I am sharing another winter themed paper craft featuring the new Pine Tree 3D die set. This die set includes 5 different sizes of snowflake dies with cuts in the center and a tree base to build adorable miniature paper trees. I decided to use the snowflakes to make an alternative project: a winter wreath.

To create the wreath I first cut a large 11.5″ circle using my Cricut machine out of white cardstock for my circular base. Next I used four sheets of icicle themed scrapbook paper from the Crystal Blues Paper Pad to create the varying sized snowflake die cuts. I used the darker parts of the patterned paper for the larger snowflakes that are placed in the back of the wreath. I used the lighter areas for the smaller snowflake die cuts. I cut a few snowflakes from scraps of white glitter cardstock as well to break up the blues towards the front of the wreath.

I ink blended with Stormy Sky Oxide ink to shade the center area of the wreath to create more of a frozen/icy look. I used the Alphabet Haley Outline die set to cut the letters to spell the word “welcome.” I used the i-Stik adhesive sheets to attach the die cut letters to the center of the wreath. To finish the wreath I used sparkly silver ribbon to add a hook to the wreath and to add a beautiful embellishing bow.

Thanks for stopping by the i-Crafter blog today. Head over to my blog for more information on the supplies I used to create this project. Check out my Instagram account for other recent creations here. I’ll be back soon with more i-Crafter inspiration.
