Prize Winner

Hello! It’s Lauren today sharing this cute prize-winning ribbon. When I saw the cute pie die from the new Recipe Mini Album set, the idea to make a prize ribbon came to me. It reminded me of a country fair pie baking contest where blue ribbons were given out for the best pie.

I created my prize-winning ribbon by first die cutting the ribbon rosette parts from blue cardstock.

After folding all three rosette pieces along the score lines, I adhered them together end to end along the tabs creating a circle. I then adhered a blue circle on the front and the back of the rosette and set acrylic blocks on top until my liquid adhesive dried.

Once the adhesive dried, I die cut, then adhered, the elements for the front of the rosette.

I used the doily shaped die and dies to create the pie from the Recipe Mini Album to cut the other shapes for the rosette.

Next, I created the ribbons for the rosette using the banner dies from the Ribbon Rosette dies from blue and yellow cardstock. Then die cut a blue # and 1 using the dies from the Alphabet Heather die sets.

The final step of this creation was adhering the ribbons onto the rosette to complete the prize winning ribbon!

I hope this inspires you to create some fun prize ribbons for your favorite bakers or chefs! Thanks for visiting!
