Dramatic Masculine Thank You Card

Hello! It’s Lauren here again to share my metallic thank you card using the new Thanks Feather dies set. I wanted to make a card that was masculine and used colors that were good for the fall season.

To create my background I used alcohol inks on an A2 (4.25×5.5) sized glossy black cardstock panel. The inks I used were Mined (alloy), Gilded (alloy) and Splendor (pearl). I used an air blower to move and mix the inks on the panel. Once the ink had dried, I adhered it to an A2 sized card base.

I then die the elements to go on the card. I cut 2 feathers out of rose gold mirror cardstock and 1 feather from gold mirror cardstock. Then I cut the heart and leaves from black glossy cardstock. The word “thanks” was cut from white glossy cardstock and also from the rose gold cardstock. I adhered the rose gold thank behind the white thanks to act as a shadow.

Once all the elements were cut and ready, I adhered them onto my alcohol inked background. I love the look of all the metallic elements on the black background then the pop of white. I think it would make a great masculine card.
