Dinosaur Birthday Tag

Hello everyone. It’s Lauren here again to share a fun, dinosaur birthday gift tag. This tag features the newly released Box Pops Dinosaur Add On die set on a tag from the previously released Tags and Labels die set. There are so many different ways that i-crafter die sets can be used. I thought this T-Rex would be perfect Rawr-ing through the foliage to wish the recipient a happy birthday!

I started out by die cutting a tag from with cardstock using the large tag from the set. I then used the Fern Berries stencil with an i-blend blending brush to blend Lucky Clover Distress Oxide ink onto the tag. I also blended the ink all around the edge of the tag.

I created grass for the dinosaur to stomp through by using the grass die set from the Box Pops Easter Add-on. I die cut 5 grass shapes from white cardstock and blended the same green onto them. I trimmed the bottom of the grass and adhered them onto the bottom of the tag.

I then used the dinosaur die to die cut a dinosaur from green cardstock and one from black. I trimmed the base off both dinosaurs blended green around the outline of the green dinosaur and adhered them together with the black showing to act as a shadow. Then I adhered him on the tag standing in the grass.

Next, I die cut the RAWR! sentiment 4 time from black cardstock and adhered them in a stack. Then adhered them above the dinosaur on the tag. I also used the Happy Birthday die from the Happy Birthday Wiper die set to cut a green and also a black Happy Birthday sentiment. I adhered the green over the black, again creating a shadow.

The last step to complete the tag, was to use the eyelet die to cut a black eyelet to go over the tag hole.

I think tag would make any dinosaur lover happy on their birthday. I hope this inspires you to find different ways to use your die sets. Thanks for visiting!
