Let’s Make This

Our i-Stik adhesive sheets can be die cut into shapes and then embellished with glitter or embossing powders. Here’s a great project showing how precise glitter application can enhance a project.

1. Begin by gathering your supplies. You will need:

Die cut the beetle shape out of solid color card stock. Die cut the shell and heart out of the i-Stik adhesive sheet. Peel off one side of the adhesive sheet shell and apply to the beetle. Apply fine glitter. Repeat the steps to create the heart out of a different glitter color and adhere to the shell.

Die cut and embellish the other Love Bugs using the i-Stik adhesive sheets and fine glitter.

For the wings on the bee, I adhered the i-Stik adhesive sheet to thin copier paper before die cutting. This allowed the reverse side of the wings to remain non-sticky.

I used an A6 card size {4 1/2″ x 6 1/4″} as the base. I die cut the word “Bugging” out of light gray card stock using the Alphabet, Haley Outline die. I stamped the words “I Love You” using the Alphabet, Haley stamp and Fire Ruby Hybrid Ink. I wanted the word “Bugging” to appear softer than the words “I Love You”.

Adhere the bugs onto the card as desired

Love Bugs

Truly a non-traditional Valentine sentiment!

Now you can add glitter or embossing powder in the shape of any die using the i-Stik adhesive sheet. Imagine the possibilities!
