Wisteria Inlay Slimline Card

Hi everyone, it’s Tina here. Today’s card is packed with not one but two techniques. I inlayed the Wisteria Vines die set and I inked my background using the Japanese Kumiko Stencil then applied Glitter Gel. Below is the steps to create your own card.

Step 1 – Trim White Cardstock to 7” x 8 1/2”, score at 3 1/2” and fold in half for a vertical side fold card. (Slimline)

Step 2 – Trim White Cardstock to 3 1/2” x 8 1/2”. Apply various colors of Distress Oxide Inks using a Blender Brush. I used Peacock Feathers, Wilted Violet & Broken China. Place Japanese Kumiko Stencil on top of the panel and apply Gina K Designs Glitz Glitter Gel Iridescent using a spatula. Carefully peel off the stencil and let the panel dry. Wash the stencil and spatula with warm water and dish soap. Adhere the panel to the card front using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

Step 3 – Diecut Wisteria Vines using White Cardstock (for the outline only), Lavender Cardstock (for the petals only) and Mint Cardstock (for the leaves only). Place the White outline on another piece of White Cardstock. Trace the outer edge lightly with a pencil. Trim the outline going slightly inside the line. Adhere the outline to the trimmed solid piece. Inlay all the Lavender and Mint pieces using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive. Adhere the whole panel to the card front using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

I didn’t add a sentiment which is very rare for me. I didn’t add one because this card can be used for many occasions and when an occasion comes up I can just stamp or diecut one. Below is a link to the products used. Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
