Wishing for Spring – Slimline Bunny Card

Hello my crafty friends! Welcome to today’s blog featuring i-crafters new Easter Treat Lantern Add On dies and the Fern and Berries stencil.  This Happy Happy Spring card is super easy to recreate and just requires die cutting and a bit of stenciling.

I started with a piece of 3 1/4″ x 8 1/4″ butter cream cardstock.  I used a ruler to find the middle of the card front and secured the bunny  window die for the Easter Treat  Lantern Add On dies.  Once my middle bunny was die cut in the card front, I could easy measure, position and die cut   the next two bunny die cuts on the card front panel.  I repositioned the bunny  die over the  paper die cut bunny on the panel,  I used i-blender Brushes with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide to stencil the face and ear opening through the metal die.  I repeated this to add a face on the two remaining bunnies. 

I die cut the Bunny Cheeks and nose three times from pink cardstock.  I glued the bunny nose and mouth over the stenciled area on each bunnies face.  I used post-its to mask off the three bunnies and stenciled Old Paper Distress Oxide and the Fern Berry Stencil to the front of the card.  This stencil is not as long as the slimline card front, so I moved it further down to extend the ivy look.  After removing the mask, I added the Happy Happy  Spring die sentiment to the front of the card.  It is cut from Mirror cardstock and glued to the card front.

I added  double sided foam tape to the back of the card front and attached it to a piece of 3 1/8″ x 8 1/8′  light green cardstock.  I attached the bunny card front to a butter cream slimline card base. to complete the card.
