Valentine’s Mailbox

Hello crafty friends!  This is Shanna here today with a quick tutorial featuring the Mailbox Card die set from i-Crafter!  This box card is too cute for words, and a cinch to put together–let me show you how!

First I die cut all the pieces using my I-Crafter Magnetic i-Mend Pro Deck.  If you haven’t tried one of the Pro Decks yet, you MUST!  I seriously won’t ever go back to regular cutting plates–EVER!  This was a total game changer and now I can collect, er’ I mean *invest* in more crafty goodies other than those silly plastic cutting plates that wear out so quick!

Here is what you need to cut out for the base and mats:

The base goes together by folding the scored tabs on the side and gluing it together to form a box shape. You can add the pattern paper mats either before you glue the box together, or after–both work fine.

I die cut some of the hearts included in the die set to decorate the front and the flag—plus!! I attached the flag with a brad so it will actually move!  Check out my Instagram to see it in action!

Have you started making Valentines yet?  This box card could easily be embellish *a lot* more or even stuffed with some Cocoa packets to gift to someone *sweet*. I would love to see your take on it, be sure to tag me @caffeinated.craftiness on Instagram so I can ooooh and ahhhh!
