Travel Mini Album

Hello World

Hello Everyone! I am so excited to be sharing another fun i-Crafter project I made today, and this may be one of my top favorite projects yet! The November release has some great travel-themed sets, and I wanted to use the new Mini Album, Accordion die set to make a little Travel Album!

Using the Mini Album, Accordion die set to make a project is such a fantastic way to deplete some of that ever growing patterned paper stash! Especially if you use just one pad, as all of the colors and patterns will coordinate with each other!

The Mini Album, Accordion die set has all the core pieces needed to make your album, but also comes with a lot of little decoration die cuts that you can use to really amp up your project!

For my cover, I used the Hello World die set for my globe, banner and sentiment. I also used the Cosmic Flare stencil to give the globe a nice background, along with the notebook edge die cut to make it look like a notebook!

To carry with the travel and adventure theme, my 2nd spread of pages includes the word die cuts “adventure”, “this is” and “happy”, along with the hashtag die cut as well! The Mini Album, Accordion set comes with a pocket die cut, as well as a little tab die cut as well, which really amp up that finished edge feel! The little location pin drop die cut is from the Hello World die set, too!

Tip: when making your Mini Album, I highly recommend using a nice heavier weight cardstock for your core pieces, and then adhering your lighter patterned paper pieces on top of it. This will give your project a very nice sturdy look and feel!

For my final page spread, I made a “You & Me” page, where the small hearts and words die cuts came from the Mini Album, Accordion set, and the larger heart came from the Hello World die set. Then, for the following page, I used the hexagon from the Mini Album, Accordion set, and the banner with sentiment from the Hello World die set!

I love that it would be so easy to go in and add little travel pictures and clippings for you to hold on to forever! I’m excited to fill this little album once traveling becomes a safer thing to do!

Thank you so much for stopping by the i-Crafter blog today! I hope this leaves you inspired to go out and make your own Mini Album, whether it be your first, your your 100th! Be sure to stop by the i-Crafter website for all the fun November products as well!
