Hi there. It’s Lauren here today sharing this cute cat card. I created this card with thoughts of my friend’s mischievous cat in my mind. Sadly, she recently lost him but she enjoyed his love and fun loving personality for 17 years.
I started by using the Pegboard Shelfie die to cut out the panel for all my elements. I used a woodgrain patterned paper from my stash.
I then created the elements to place on the pegboard using dies included in both the Pegboard Selfie and Matchbook Jungle Cat Add-On die sets.
I die cut 3 pink hearts and adhered them together in a stack to give them dimension. To create the I, I trimmed the H using scissors. Next, I started to add the elements to the pegboard.
Then I backed the pegboard with a black cardstock panel I trimmed 1/8″ under 4.25×5.5″. Then I adhered that to a top folding A2 sized (4.25×5.5″) white card base.
This is totally something my friend’s cat would have tried to do if she had had a pegboard like this in her home. I hope this inspires you to try mixing up your die sets and using them together. Thanks for visiting.
