Spookatcular Halloween Card

Hello friends and welcome!  This is Shanna today from Caffeinated Craftiness.  I am sharing a super fun Halloween card featuring a few products from I-Crafter today.

Have you seen this month’s release??!!??  It has some amazing goodies in it, including the new Buffalo Plaid stencil.  This stencil is quickly becoming a favorite of mine!  It is NO secret I love stencils, and plaids are always something I reach for.  For this project I decided to pair the stencil with the uber-cute Impossible Box Frankenstein face!

I started by grabbing some orange glitter paste and stenciling onto white cardstock with the Buffalo Plaid Stencil.  Next I die cut the Frankenstein pieces out using dies from the Impossible Box  die set.  After the glitter paste had dried, I cut the card panel to 3×6″ for a mini-slimline card.  I matted the plaid panel onto a piece of black cardstock and then again using the same glitter cardstock I used for Frank—and then added it to a mini slimline card base.  I popped the Frankenstein face up with foam tape–then grabbed some wash from my *cough cough* collection and adhered it to some scrap cardstock before tucking it under Frank and adhering to the card panel.  At the last minute I decided I wanted to use a scrap of candy corn ribbon I had on my desk, so I carefully pulled Framp back off and then adhered the ribbon using score-tape.  I popped Frank back on and the card was complete!  Perfect to send off to my niece for Halloween!

Are you making cards this year for Halloween?  Dies make them so quick and easy!  I can’t wait to see what YOU make next!
