Procraftinator Award

Ribbon Rosette, Crafty Add-on

Hi everyone! It’s Lauren on the blog today sharing an award I made for a family award night my family had. On release day May 1st, I posted awards that I had made for my husband and sons. Well, today I have the one I made for myself. Yep. That’s right. I made my own award! May sound crazy but I figured I was on a roll, why stop now!

I used the new Ribbon Rosette Crafty Add On along with the Ribbon Rosette die set to create my very appropriate award!

I started out by die cutting three of the long curved ribbon for the rosette. Then I adhered them end to end creating an open circle. Next, I folded along all the score lines and adhered the ends The paper I used was created with my gel press plate. I used Kitsch Flamingo and Patina Distress Oxide reinkers and white acrylic paint.

Next, I die cut 2 circles out of white cardstock using the circle die in the ribbon rosette set. I adhered a circle on the front and also the back of the rosette and set a couple of acrylic blocks on top the weigh it down until the adhesive set. Then I die cut the procraftinator circle out of white iridescent cardstock and placed double sided foam tape on the back. I die cut the pointed circle from turquoise cardstock and adhered the procraftinator circle on top.

Then I adhered the procraftinator center to the rosette.

After that, I created the ribbons for the bottom of the award. I die cut two small banners out of the patterned paper I made and 2 large banners from the turquoise paper. The words I die cut from the turquoise paper using the Carley Alphabet set. I adhered everything together creating the two ribbons for the award.

I wanted to add a little extra to my award so I die cut a pink doily using the Doily Die and adhered it to the back of the rosette.

Last step was to adhere the ribbons under the rosette to finish my award!

I really had so much fun creating this award to add to the others for a really fun family night! We had a fun time laughing, talking and joking about each persons award!

Here are all the awards together.

I hope this inspires you to create something fun with these awesome sets. Thanks for visiting!
