Playful Panda Cards

Hi everyone, it’s Tina here. Welcome to my first Blog Post for i-Crafter. I am super excited to share with you a couple of cards I created using the Playful Pandas stamp set. One is using the Bamboo images to create a background and the other card is without a background. Below you will find the steps to create your own cards.

Card 1

Step 1 – Trim White Cardstock to 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, scored at 4 1/4” and fold in half for a vertical side fold card. (A2)

Step 2 – Trim White Cardstock to 5 1/2” x 4 1/4”. Diecut a circle using Masking Paper. Place the circle masking paper to cover the center. Stamp the bamboo repeatedly. Remove the masking paper and placed the negative masking paper piece to the Cardstock. Stamp Panda image on masking paper and fussy cut it out. Stamp the Panda in the lower center of the circle using Versafine Onyx Black Ink then place the Panda masking on top and ink the center circle using inks of your choice. I used Distress Oxide Inks Tumbled Glass and Cracked Pistachio. Diecut panel using a Double Stitched Rectangles die. Adhere to card using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

Step 3 – Stamp Playful Pandas bamboo images and sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black Ink.

Step 4 – For added interest randomly adhere some sequins or sprinkes you have in your stash.

Card 2

Step 1 – Trim White Cardstock to 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, scored at 4 1/4” and fold in half for a vertical side fold card. (A2)

Step 2 – Trim White Cardstock to 5 1/2” x 4 1/4”. Diecut a circle using Masking Paper. Adhere negative masking paper piece to the Cardstock. Ink the center circle using inks of your choice. I used Distress Oxide Inks Tumbled Glass and Cracked Pistachio. Remove the masking paper. Diecut panel using a Double Stitched Rectangles die. Adhere to card using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

Step 3 – Stamp Playful Pandas bamboo images and sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black Ink.

Step 4 – Stamp Playful Pandas image on White Cardstock using Versafine Onyx Black Ink. Fussy cut the image and adhere to card using Foam Tape.
