Mixed Media Mailbox

Hello and welcome back for another i-crafter project! I’m so excited to be showing you this mailbox die.  I made this fun easy DIY mixed media mailbox as a nest for birds.

Steps

1- I started out by die-cutting the parts for the mailbox from design papers using the dies from the Mailbox die set.

2- I started to assemble the mailbox starting with the body of the mailbox (long rectangular piece). I folded along all the score lines using a mountain fold. Then placed my adhesive along with the end tab and secured the other end to the tab to create the body of the mailbox.

3- I placed adhesive on the tabs at the back of the mailbox and secured the back piece to the tabs.

4- to Keep the front door open for the mailbox, I skipped adhering to it.

5- I used a recycled cardboard tube and covered it with design paper.

6- I used a glue gun to adhere artificial grass inside the mailbox and on the tube.

7- I decorate the mailbox with birds and flowers.
