Miss You Swan CAS card

Hey everyone! It’s Jessica on the blog today. I’m sharing a quick and easy miss you card, using the Swan Tunnel die set. I don’t do CAS (Clean and Simple) cards often but I love how this one turned out. And I used supplies that I already had laying around.

The simple design, minimal products and colors is what makes a CAS style card so elegant but hard! I like to add things!

The background is made using Alcohol inks on vellum. I made this a while ago just playing around. I chose a few coordinating alcohol ink colors and mixed in some with pearl, for a little shimmer. This background I thought would work so well with the Swan Tunnel card base die. This die set has different layers and I chose to cut out the swan in white and the greenery in a light green. I kept the colors calming and minimal. The simple miss you sentiment is added to the black card stock banner. The banner die is included in the Swan Tunnel Card Base Die set.

I used a liquid glue to adhere everything to the card base, but only adding the glue to places that would be hidden on the vellum. Some of the darker alcohol ink areas hide the glue well.

I used W3, W1, W0 and Y18 to color the swan and enhance the details die cut from the die. This card I could see make a few of and sending out to people who might need some extra love this week!

Thank you all so much for joining me today!

I hope you enjoyed this CAS card.

Jessica ❤
