Magical Unicorn Mini Slimline Card

Hi everyone, it’s Tina here. The Box Pop Oval Base has a fun Unicorn Add-On. I used it non traditionally for a super fun Unicorn Mini Slimline Card. Below are the steps to create your own card.

Step 1 – Trim White Cardstock to 7” x 6”, score at 3 1/2” and fold in half for a vertical side fold card (Mini Slimline).

Step 2 – Create rainbow clouds using a Cloud Stencil from your stash. If you do not have one you can create one in pencil on a scrap piece of Cardstock and then fussy cut it out. Apply the Stencil to the card front and starting from the top in rainbow order apply the ink of your choice with a blending brush. I used Distress Oxide Inks starting with Candied Apple, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Broken China, Seedless Preserves.

Step 3 – Fussy cut a hillside using scissors in a squiggly line on Green Cardstock. Adhere to card using Foam Tape.

Step 4 – Diecut Box Pop Unicorn Add-On using White Cardstock for the Unicorn and Pink Cardstock for the hair and tail. Adhere the hair and tail using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive then adhere to the card front using Foam Tape. (Be sure to tuck the legs behind the hillside).

Step 5 – Diecut Box Pop Unicorn Add-On using White Cardstock for the sentiment and Holographic Cardstock for the stars. Adhere to card using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.
