Itty Bitty Mini Junk Journal

Hi everyone! Tonya here today with a tiny mini junk journal I created using Geometric Dimensional Dome, Floral Garden Diecuts , the tag from the Mini Succulent Terrarium Diecuts and the Geometric Favor Box Diecuts which I turned into the cover and inside pages for the tiny journal.

For the cover I cut two of the Geometric Flavor Box Diecuts and cut the flap off of the lid and the top flap off that will be left open to create a pocket. (I thought I had taken photos of those steps but apparently not…yikes!). I folded and adhered the flaps to create pocket and I glued the sides that I cut the closure/flap off on top of each other to create the spine. For the pages I cut seven out and a square which will be used to sew the pages to before adding to the inside of the spine.

I measured and marked in 1/4 inch intervals and then with the i-Clik Pick I punched holes on the back side of the square piece of patterned cardstock and each page. I stitched each page onto the square piece of cardstock and then folded and glued the flaps to each side of the page to create pockets. Then I adhered all to the inside spine of the album.

I cut the square from the Mini Succulent Terrarium Diecuts, flowers and leaves from the Floral Garden Diecuts and I shaped and adhered the flowers and leaves to the center of the square. I added a mix of sequins and seed beads to the Geometric Dimensional Dome and glued the square cardstock to the dome and let dry before adhering to the cover on the tiny album.

I added trim and a mini flower with leaves to the corner of the trim.

I added flower diecuts, butterfly images and trim to the inside pages.

I cut several tags from the Mini Succulent Terrarium Diecuts and added bits of trim and placed in the pockets along with other little goodies. I hope you enjoyed this tiny junk journal and if you have any questions or comments please let me know.
