FAQ – i-Mend Self-Mending MAGNETIC PRO Deck

  • Will the MAGNETIC PRO Deck work with my electric Gemini Jr.?
    Yes, but for best results, we recommend using the non-magnetic PRO Deck because of the extreme pressure. It replaces one of the Gemini Jr. hard plastic pads in the sandwich. Use it with their magnetic shim and thin plastic shims if necessary.
  • Will the MAGNETIC PRO Deck work with my manual Big Shot machine?
    Yes. Remove Tab 2 on their Multi Purpose Platform, use the MAGNETIC PRO Deck in place of one hard plastic pad. Use thin plastic shims if necessary.
  • Will the MAGNETIC PRO Deck work with my electric Vagabond machine?
    Yes. Use the same sandwich as the Big Shot machine above.
  • Will the MAGNETIC PRO Deck work with my manual Cuttlebug machine?
    No. The MAGNETIC PRO Deck is 6 1/8″ wide and will not fit in the Cuttlebug opening.
  • Will the MAGNETIC PRO Deck work with the We R Memory Keepers Evolution Machine?
    Yes. Set the die cutting dial to 5.
  • Will the MAGNETIC PRO Deck work with my Spellbinders Platinum 6 machine?
    Yes. We recommend using the i-crafter Standard Cutting Base without the Adapter or see Sandwich Chart
  • Will the PRO Deck work with a full-size die cutting machine like the Platinum or Gemini?
    We do not recommend using the PRO Deck in a “landscape” or “horizontal” sandwich in a full size machine. 
  • How do I clean the MAGNETIC PRO Deck?
    If necessary, use a damp paper towel and cold water to wipe the MAGNETIC PRO Deck surface clean. Do not use harsh detergents. Do not expose to hot water.
  • Will the MAGNETIC PRO Deck work with steel rule dies?
    No. The sandwich is too thick.
  • Do you make a non-magnetic version of the PRO Deck?
