Die cut the various bird shapes. Die cut two of the green bird and one of the blue bird

Use Distress Inks and i-Brush Blending Brushes to embellish the birds

Finished birds. Make two of the green birds, one for the front of the card.

1. Place the Tunnel Card, Love Birds Add-on leafy heart shape into the largest die shape from the Bendy Base Card Insert die {seen here in the light green}. Place the dies with the single tab to the right and die cut together.
2. Place the Love Birds shape into the largest Bendy Base shape {seen here in medium green} and die cut together with the single tab to the right.
3. Die cut the largest Bendy Base shape without any inserts {seen here in dark green}, again with the single tab to the right.
4. Finally, die cut just the Tunnel Card, Love Birds branch shape from brown card stock and trim to create the branch for the birds to sit.

From the medium green shape, cut along both side creases and set aside the two center pieces.

On the dark green, solid piece, cut along the vertical creases and set aside the center piece.

Adhere the birds onto the medium green shape. Trim the brown branch shape and adhere it in front of the birds’ feet

Layer the medium green layer over the dark green layer. Don’t forget to add the top of the medium green layer above the birds

Ink the edges of the light green layer with the leafy heart-shaped opening. Fold the long crease line on the right and the two short tab crease lines on the left. Use the i-Press Burnisher to crease crisp folds

Flip over the light green shape. Adhere the edge of the long, white strip to the single tab. Make sure that the white strip is aligned to fit between the two short tabs when folded

While still working on the back side of the large piece, apply adhesive to the two short tabs and adhere the layered bird piece to the larger piece

While still on the back side of the piece, check to make sure that the white strip is still aligned between the two short tabs and can move freely. Fold as shown. Apply adhesive to the two short tabs. Have your blank A2, vertical fold card handy.

Align the right edge of the insert with the inside right edge of the opened card. With the insert flat, adhere the two short tabs on the left to the card making sure that the white strip can still move freely.

Gently push in the right edge of the light green front insert until it touches the dark green back edge and creates a smooth bow. Apply about a half-inch wide section of adhesive to the back of the white strip. Holding the insert so it is still bowed, adhere the end of the white strip to the left side of the card

Gently slide the right edge of the insert so that it lays flat and the card starts to close. Once the insert is flat and the card is fully closed then gently press on the front of the card to create a crease on the inside strip. The location of the crease on the strip will be different than the crease in the center of the card

CARD FRONT

Cut a piece of light green card stock to 4″ x 5 1/4″ so that it is slightly smaller than the front of an A2 card. Place the leafy Love Bird Add-on piece on the card stock so that it is slightly above center and run it through the die cutting machine

Embellish and assemble the second green Love Bird if you haven’t done so already. Ink around the center opening of the light green card front. Die cut a greeting. Cut a piece of dark green card stock 3″ x 3″

Assemble as shown. We used double-sided adhesive foam tape behind the light green card front to add dimension. Adhere the bird so it peeks out of the opening. Adhere the greeting
