Hello everyone! Justin here, and today I have a simple “hello” card that is entirely inspired by Spring and soft pastel colors!
First off, I want to just say that the new Hello Flower set is just the perfect addition to your craft stash. The “hello” word die included with the set is such a nice large size, that it really allows you to put a bold sentiment onto your project! Plus, the little flower add-ons make such a nice embellishment!
For my card, I took a 4.125″ x 5.375 panel of white blending cardstock and ink blended, from top to bottom, a light pink, orange, yellow and green ink to give a spring-inspired ombré. Next, I placed the Fern Berries stencil over the panel, and applied a layer of white pigment ink for a little bit of a subtle detailed background.
Next, I took a pink and hot pink “hello” word die from the Hello Flower set, adhered them together so the hot pink was slightly offset underneath to provide a nice shadow effect. I adhered 3 flower die cuts to the card, and then used foam tape to prop up my “hello” die. I adhered a couple half bead embellishments, adhered the panel to an A2-sized piece of pink cardstock, and finally adhered the panel to an A2-sized card base! A simple and effective “hello” card all finished!
I hope you enjoyed me putting together this fun little project using the brand new sets from the i-Crafter February Release!
