Hello Kokeshi Mini Slimline Card

Hi everyone, it’s Tina here. Today’s card is using the Kokeshi Dress Up dies and the Japanese Kumiko Stencil to create a mini slimline card. Below you will find the details to create your own card.

Step 1 – Trim White Cardstock to 7” x 6”, score at 3 1/2” and fold in half for a vertical side fold card. (Mini Slimline)

Step 2 – Trim White Cardstock to 3 1/2” x 6”. Place the Japanese Kumiko Stencil on top of the trimmed Cardstock and apply ink of your choice. I used Distress Oxide Crackling Campfire. Adhere to card using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive. There is a lot of ink remaining on the stencil so instead of cleaning it up spray some water and place it on top of another Cardstock for a Watercolor effect. You can save it for another project.

Step 3 – Diecut Kokeshi Dress Up Doll using Cardstock and Patterned Paper. I used Ivory for the body, black for the hair, umbrella base and some trims, patterned paper for the dress and umbrella. Assemble and adhere to the card using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

Step 4 – Diecut Flip Card Dashed Circles (sentiment) using Black Cardstock x 3. Assemble the layers and adhere to card using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

This card can be used for many occasions by changing the colors and/or sentiment. Below is a link to all the products used. Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
