Hearts and Memories Shadow Box

I am here sharing a Hearts and Memories Shadow Box Card using the Shadow Box Card die by Lori Whitlock. This special piece is for a dear friend who has the biggest heart. I love the look of the kraft-colored paper with the red plaid.

I diecut the first layer from kraft card stock. Using the same die, I diecut another piece from red cardstock and trimmed the sides so the kraft color shows on the sides.

Diecut the decorative heart out of foil card stock from Valentine Treat Lantern Add-on by Lynda Kanase. Adhere it to a piece of acetate to look like it was floating in the center opening.

Embellish it with some tiny flatback pearl-looking flowers just to brighten my card or fancy it up I should say. Finally, I used the “memories” sentiment from the Recipe Mini Album to finish off my Shadow Box Card. I hope everyone has enjoyed my post and thanks for stopping by.
