Happy Easter Mini Slimline

Hi everyone, it’s Tina here. I am sharing a Mini Slimline card using the Box Pop Easter Add On. It is a fabulous interactive dieset but today I used it in a different way along with a DIY background. Below you will find the steps to create your own card.

Step 1 – Trim White Cardstock to 7” x 6”, score at 3 1/2” and fold in half for a vertical side fold card. (Mini Slimline)

Step 2 – Trim Cardstock strips in various colors and sizes. I trimmed the following. Green Cardstock 1/2”, Pink Cardstock 1/4” and Lilac Cardstock 1/8”. Trim Copy Paper to 3 1/2” x 6”. Adhere the strips onto the Copy Paper using adhesive of your choice. I used Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive. Let dry then and to the card front.

Step 3 – Diecut Box Pop Easter Add On 2 times. Once using Grey Cardstock and another using Green Cardstock. Trim Lilac Cardstock to 2 3/16”. Adhere the Grey diecut to the Lilac panel using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive. Trim the Green diecut so you only have the grass. Adhere to the panel placing it on top of the Grey grass using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive. Diecut Box Pop Easter Add On (egg pattern and solid) using White Cardstock for solid die x 3 and Pink Cardstock for pattern die (3 patterns). Assemble and adhere to card using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive. Adhere the entire panel to the card front using Foam Tape.

Step 4 – Diecut Box Pop Easter Add On (sentiments) using Green Cardstock for Happy and Lilac Cardstock for Easter. Adhere to panel using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

Step 5 – Optional – For added interest and sparkle randomly adhere Sequins in various sizes and color using an Embellishment Tool and Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

I love using Interactive Dies other than it was originally intended as it stretches the use of the dies and I love how it turned out. You can change it up by using a different color mix. Below is a link to the product used. Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
