Hello, i-crafter fans! I am so glad to be sharing my first post on the blog! I made a cute Halloween card with the new Scotty Holiday dies. I am in love with these cute dogs! Let me take you through the process of creating this card.
First, I added a black re-inker to embossing paste.
I mixed this to make a beautiful grey color. Next, I die cut 2 Scotty dogs, I used the back of one and front of the other to make the dogs look at each other. Then, I added the grey embossing paste onto the dog die cuts. I used my spatula to make the paste look like fur.
Next, I used the same grey embossing paste on the new Buffalo Plaid Stencil.
Here’s the reveal!!
After the embossing paste dried, I added the and bows to the Scotty dogs. I used the Buffalo Plaid Stencil to be the floor and one of the tags at the top of the card. To make the tags, I used the Ribbon Rosette die set. I cut different size tags out of orange glitter card stock, glossy black card stock and the stenciled paper. These were affixed with a black ribbon.
The background was splattered with black ink. Last,I cut the pumpkin and sentiment from the Halloween Treat Lantern set. I used glitter card stock for the pumpkin and the sentiment. I hope you enjoyed this card!
