Get Whale Soon Pop Up

Hello again. Lauren here to share this fun get well card that’s sure to cheer anyone up. I paired the Box Pop Whale Done Add-On with the new Stand Ups Insert Base to create a whale popping up inside my card.

To start, I blended Catherine Pooler’s Something Borrowed ink onto the front of a white A2 sized card front.

I then used the whale dies and die from the Box Pop Add On and cut 3 whales from black cardstock and the white parts of the whale as well. I adhered the white pieces onto the black whales.

Next, I die cut the words included in the set to cut “get whale soon” from white and black cardstock. The adhered the white words offset onto the black creating a shadow.

I adhered the whales and the words onto the front of the card.

I then ink blended Catherine Pooler’s Something Borrowed and Suede Shoes on the inside of the card.

Next, I used the Stand Ups Insert die to cut the pieces for the inside stand up portion of the card.

After securing the Cosmic Flare stencil to the panel, I ink blended Limoncello over the whole panel then Tiki Torch just in the center around the circle.

Next, I ink blended Suede Shoes onto the strip. then folded along the score lines and adhered the tab to create a square.

I die cut the splash from the Box Pop Add On set and ink blended both blue inks on it. I also die cut the word Hugs included in the Stand Ups Insert die set and adhered that to the splash.

I then folded the pop up piece along the score lines and adhered it onto the inside of the card.

To the front of the pop up, I adhered the yellow flare panel.

I then adhered the blue square, the hugs splash and a whale onto the panel.

There are so many stand up possible cards to make using this new set! I hope this inspires you to your own stand up cards!
