From Our Home

Hi everyone – Bri here! Today I am a sharing a holiday project featuring the Tiny Home 3D die set and the Tunnel Card, Santa die set from i-Crafter. This holiday card has a fun message on the inside keep reading below for more details. I used light purple cardstock to make a 3″ x 3″ card base. I trimmed Bristol Smooth cardstock to 2 7/8″ x 2 7/8″ to be matted onto the card base. I used Milled Lavender, Dusty Concord, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide inks to blend the night sky onto the Bristol Smooth cardstock. I used plain water and white acrylic paint to create the falling snow on the background. I die cut a house from the Tiny Home 3D die set and placed it on a snowy hill. I used Vintage Photo Oxide ink to color the roof of the house and I used Hickory Smoke ink to distress the edges giving it more of a rustic feel. The house folds flat to fit inside an envelope!  I die cut the “happy holidays” sentiment and the Santa sleigh silhouette with the Tunnel Card, Santa die set. For the final touches I used Copic markers to create the icy shadows on the snow and I added sequins for some additional shine.

I used the letters from the Tiny Home 3D die set to create a pop-up feature inside of the card. The letters and hearts are die cut from light purple cardstock and then I used the same Distress Oxide inks as above to create an ombre blend on the shapes. I stamped partial sentiments on the top and bottom of the inside of the card so that the whole sentiment reads “From Our Home to Yours.” To finish the inside of the card I ink splattered with Dusty Concord Oxide ink to add color in the white space.
