Hello crafty friends! I am so glad you stopped by today to see my i-crafter Inspiration Team blog. What do you think of these gorgeous blue flowers and the bling background?? I thought I would use wet watercolor paper to see how it would react when embossing and Aqua Pigments were added to it. I absolutely love the results!. Here is how I created my Floral Thanks card.

A – I wet watercolor paper and used the rubber embossing mat with my die cutting machine, I embossed the largest Cherry Blossom Burst die into the paper
B – I stared adding a drops of Anemone Aqua Pigments and the watercolor paper with additional water to allow the color to bleed out I dried the paper
C – I added Ice Skate Aqua Pigment next and sprayed a bit more water on the paper. I dried it with my heat gun . Once it was dry i lined up the large Cherry Blossom Burst die on the watercolor paper and re -embossed it with the rubber embossing mat and the die cutting machine
D – I sprayed the paper to get it damp and added Sugar Plum Aqua Pigment for a final shimmer. I then dried the paper a second time with my heat gun

E – after the paper was dry, I took the large Cherry Blossom Burst die and die cut the flower cluster out.
F – From the remaining scrap of watercolor paper, I die cut the word THANKS using the Pop Up Wiper Insert die set
G – i used Fallen Snow Glitterstock. It is a pure white heavy glitter paper. I sprayed it with water and added a few drops of Aqua Pigments in Irish, Shamrock. and Limerick (all greens colors). You can see it blended to create this beautiful subtle glittery back ground
H – This is a close up of the blue die cut Cherry Blossom Burst

I – I cut the colored glitterstock to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and using my A2 nesting dies, I die cut a 1/4″ frame from the same glitterstock piece. Here you see all the pieces ready to assemble
J – I glued the 1/4″ glitterstock frame to the light blue card base. I used adhesive foam squares to adhere the inner glitterstock rectangle to the card base popping it up from the frame. Using foam squares on the back of the THANKS sentiment, I attached it to the lower left of the card
K – I die cut two floral sprigs from the Floral Garden die set and glued them to the top right area of the glitterstock
L – I used liquid glue to attached the Chery Blossom cluster to the top right of the card. I added blue half gems in the middle of each flower to complete the Floral Thanks card

These are the i-crafter products I used with this card
