On an 8 ½” x 4 ¼” white cardstock panel, make a score line at the 5 1/2” mark on the score board. Make another score line at the 2 ¾” mark. This is the easel card base. Set aside.

Work on the Yupo paper with the Alloy Alcohol ink, Black alcohol ink and the Alcohol Blending Solution. 

Dispense alcohol blender solution on the Yupo paper panel. Add drops of black alcohol ink onto panel. Use blower to move and spread the ink. Drop Silver Alloy alcohol ink onto panel and use blower to move. Add more blender solution as needed to move ink as desired.

Use white metallic paint with a paintbrush to create splatters on the galaxy panel. Once paint is dry, trim to 4” x 5 1/4”. Adhere the Yupo panel to a  4 ¼” x 5 1/2” gray cardstock sheet.

Die cut the Hello World globe die in green using one of the interchangeable continent dies. Die cut a blue circle using just the globe die.

Using the “D” and “A” from the Comic Words die set, cut the word “dad” out of black and gray cardstock. Use clear tape on the back of the letters to adhere the gray outline to the black centers. Place black foam dots on the backs of the letters. Adhere the Earth and letters to the galaxy panel.

Place adhesive on the folded flap of the card base front then line up and attach the galaxy panel to it.

From black cardstock, die cut the letters for “you’re outta this world!”  from the Alphabet, Carly die set. Adhere the letters onto gray 4” x 2 1/4” cardstock. Then adhere the panel on the inside of the card base toward the bottom.

This card looks amazing whether it is displayed open or closed.
