Hello my crafty friends! I am so glad you stopped by to check out the i-crafter Inspiration Team Blog. My card today was created as part of our design team challenge. We were asked to provide three colors and we were sent a beautiful piece of alcohol inked paper with those colors our challenge was to create something using this paper and any i-crafter products. My card Faith Hope Love is created by making word using the Haley Alphabet die set.
Today I’m going to show you how to use your Misti tool to create words with die cut alphabet letters.
.
I also created a 5 minuteYouTube video for you to learn more about this technique
A – I used one edge of my Mistitool as a guide and lined up a a piece of post it tape (sticky side up) to the edge. I secured each end with one of the magnets
B – I used i-crafter’s Haley Alphabet die set. I chose the word JOY and picked out the letters. I use the lower edge of the Misti tool to line up the bottom of the letters and I use the grid to make sure the letters were lined up vertically. You will also see that that the letters are placed cutting side down
C, D – I used a piece of Purple Tape across the top of the letters to secure them in place, so that I could pick it up the word and place it on a piece of cardstock or printed paper to die cut
Here are three cards using the technique.
