Elephant Birthday Card

I’m just so in love with the Cosmic Flare Stencil from i-crafter! I have a quick video tutorial for this cutie birthday card!

This card was super easy to create! I tacked the Cosmic Flare Stencil onto my card and ink blended Lemon Drop Hybrid Ink over the stencil. This stencil is so fun because once you blend one color of ink you rotate the stencil 180 degrees and blend again! You can use a different color of ink, but I chose to use Lemon Drop Hybrid Ink once again so that I would have a tone on tone look.

Once my ink blending with the Cosmic Flare Stencil was complete I removed the stencil and I have this fun sun ray style background! I wanted to have a bit more interest at the center of my card. I used a stamp from the Comic Half Tone Dots Stamp Set and stamped it with Backyard Grass Hybrid Ink.

I stamped out the large elephant image from the Elephant Family and Phrases Stamp Set and colored him with just a couple of Copic Markers and cut him out. The sentiment is from the Happy Birthday Wiper Die Set and it’s one of my new most used birthday sentiments! The skinny font is just my style! I die cut the main birthday sentiment from black cardstock and the shadow from white and glued them together.
