Clean and Simple Rose Card

Heart Rose

Hey everyone it’s Jessica here! Today I have a clean and simple card to share with you, also known as a CAS card. I’ll be using several of the newly released dies from April and the Amaze me stamp set.

I used the Rose heart and die cut the bottom layer with black card stock then the out line of the rose with red and adhered those together. From my stash I grabbed some green felt and die cut the leaves several times. I kept those intact so that I could use them as one piece.

Have you seen the Doily die? It is fabulous! I wanted to use this as a background layer and keep all the bits together. First I’m going to die cut the doily from with aqua paper. Being careful not to loose any pieces, I flipped the die over with the die cut still inside. Using a piece of a sticky adhesive sheet ( i-crafter has this type of adhesive available.) I layered that over top of the backside of the die cut and gently removed the die. Some of the smaller die cut pieces came away with the die. I was able to pop those back into place easily with tweezers.

Then I adhered all those pieces together on to a A2 card base and added some sparkle to the rose with a glitter pen. I also squeezed out some of the glitter pen onto an acrylic block and splattered the entire card front, I wanted a lot of shine and sparkle!

For the sentiment I used the “You amaze me” from the Amaze me stamp set. Stamping that onto white card stock and trimming down with my paper trimmer. I added some pop dots behind the sentiment to add a bit of dimension.

That is all I have for you today! Thank you so much for joining me. Keep creating!

Jessica ❤
