Hello, i-crafter fans! My name is
Samantha Ziegenfuss and I am very happy to be on the i-crafter Blog sharing my first guest design with you.
For today’s project I used the beautiful
Circular Mini Album die set by Lori Whitlock. I love this set because it allowed me to quickly create a gorgeous and meaningful gift for my sister.
I die cut all of my pieces out at the same time.
I opted to decorate each panel of the mini album first as opposed to after assembling it.
After decorating the panels I placed glue along the small flap and then adhered that flap to the underside of the panel. I did this on all four panels.
When everything was dry I began to glue the panels together.

You want to be careful to leave one side not glued. In this photo I’ve included a scratch mark to remind myself not to adhere this panel to the other.

On the panels that were not adhered together I added a bit of simple matting and decoration as these will be the front and back covers of the album.
I used a piece of lace to keep everything closed and a small binder clip to help it stay open.
Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by. I hope you’ll be inspired to create something fabulous!
Until next time,
Samantha
