Hey everyone it’s Jessica to day on the I-crafter blog! I have a special little card to share with you using a background that was sent to me to use as part of a Design Team challenge. This background is beautiful and uses my favorite colors red, teal, gray and white.

I thought this had a fun spring vibe to it so I used the Cherry Blossom Bursts die set. Which cuts easily through a alcohol ink card stock like Yupo.I used the largest Cherry Blossom die first on the alcohol ink background and also die cutting it with a white card stock.
I did some trimming to make this layer together. I cut a part each blossom from the alcohol ink die cut and adhered them over the top of the white die cut Cherry Blossom Burts. Then glued that entire piece back on to the alcohol ink background.

I trimmed down the alcohol ink panel and adhered it to a A2 Neenah Solar White card base. For the sentiment I used the lovely Carly Alphabet die set. I really like the size and font of this alpha set and creating your own personalized sentiments is so fun. I used the capital letters and abbreviated “Happy Birthday to you.” to “HB2U”. So easy and cute! For the letters I used a dark gray card stock and also added some shimmer with a glitter brush pen.
Thank you all so much for joining me today!
Jessica ❤
