Butterfly Burst Card

Hi everyone, it’s Tina here. There is a beautiful Butterfly Bursts dieset from the August release. There are several possibilities in using this set. Below is one way with the steps to create your own Butterfly Burst Card.

Step 1 – Trim White Cardstock to 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, score at 4 1/4” and fold in half for a vertical side fold card. (A2)

Step 2 – Trim Patterned Paper (rainbow) to 5 1/2” x 4 1/4” and adhere to card front using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

Step 3 – Diecut Butterfly Bursts (detailed butterflies and outline together in one pass) using White Cardstock. Using the outline die diecut each butterfly in rainbow colours. You can flip the outline die to mark in pencil to the side it did not diecut. Adhere the single solid butterfly beneath using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive. See picture below for visual. Adhere to card front using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive. Be sure to lift the wings up to add dimension.

Step 4 – Diecut the Flip Card Sentiment using White Cardstock. Adhere to card using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.
