Buddy and Jovie Impossible Boxes

Impossible Box Christmas Add-on

Hi everyone!  It’s Marcia on the i-Crafter blog today sharing a really fun pair of holiday treat boxes.  Using dies from the two Impossible Box sets, I created this adorable pair of boxes inspired by Buddy the Elf and his sweetie Jovie.  The only extra die used was a foliage element from Geometric Wreath for the red leaf tucked into his triangular cap, but you could always cut the shape by hand.

Supplies used:
Impossible Box, Monsters
Impossible Box, Christmas Add On
Geometric Wreath

To create the cap, I merely cut triangles that are 1.5″ at the base and 1.25″ tall (at the point).  I just marked the halfway point (0.75″) along the longer 1.5″ side and cut from the point to the bottom corners to very simply create the triangles.  The bands on the hats can either be cut with the belt die or made with strips of paper 3/8″ wide.  I just glued it down then trimmed off the excess.  The yellow at the bottom of Buddy’s box was created with the “V” shaped die seen in the supply graphic (below) from Impossible Box, Monsters.  Like the band on the hat, I adhered the piece on the bottom edge of the box and trimmed the excess paper away.
